Jade reunion 2004
Following the re-issue of Jade's Fly On Strangewings on CD and LP in 2003, Marianne started performing Jade songs again with a band comprising:
- Marianne Segal - Vocals and Guitar
- John Whittaker - Bass and Cello
- Alan Barwise - Drums and Percussion
- Andy Lavery - Keyboards and Vocals
- Mike Sanderson - Violin, Vocals and Percussion
- Martin Vincent - Guitars
However, in 2004, after conversations at the Tapestry Folk Club with Richard Allen of Lightning Tree Records the idea was planted to contact the original Jade band. Before leaving the club a date was already booked for the reunion gig. Others were recruited including John Wetton & James Litherland from the original album sessions. (However, in the end, due to recording sessions of his own, John Wetton couldn't take part in rehearsals.)
So, in June 2004 Dave, Rod & Marianne all met again for the first time since 1971 over coffee and cakes, laughed a bit and agreed to do the reunion gig to promote the re-issue of the original Jade album.

The gig at the Tapestry Club, London on 12th November 2004 was a sell-out and was a resounding success. Read a review of the gig from Record Collector magazine.
